This class is a very popular course, with a lengthy waiting list. We often have quite a few "drops" in the first week. For all students who wish to enroll in the course, you MUST complete the first REQUIRED reading PRIOR to the first class session, and come prepared to answer questions on the reading. The reading is by Vickers & Zollman 1999, and is available on the course website, or on the web at: http://bmj.bmjjournals.com/cgi/reprint/319/7216/1050.pdf

There is no textbook for the course, instead we will use a course reader that will be available at Navin's Copy Shop after January 11, 2006. The first class reading is available on the course website. The second class reading will be passed out during the first class session.
